In the main text we give the slurs that Chopin wrote in A, yet the slur of GE (→FE→EE) can be considered an equal variant:
- in similar figures in bars 7-8 and analog. Chopin would generally put one slur;
- the slur of the editions could have been added by Chopin in the proofreading of GE1, e.g. if, initially, the engraver generally overlooked slurs in this place.
