composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt I

..

In A the repeated quavers in the parts of both hands are written in an abbreviated manner as quaver tremolos. In GE1 (→FE) the notation was preserved only in the first half of the bar, while in EE and GE2, same as in the main text, all abbreviations were explained.

In A (→GE1FE) there is a totally unjustified  before the top note of the octave (d). In GE2 the superfluous sign was removed, while in EE was added also next to the bottom note.

Slur in A

GE (→FE)

..

The slur of GE (→FE) is probably a result of a schematic interpretation of the notation of A, although from the musical point of view, it is absolutely possible. A shortened slur in EE is certainly an arbitrary revision.

No L.H. slur in A (→GE1FE)

Slur in EE & GE2

..

We add a slur for the L.H., since in this context both notations are equivalent and there is no reason to differentiate between the notations of the double presence of this motif. The slur was added already in EE and GE2.
