The version written in the sources, in which the absence of cancellation of the  lowering g1 to g1 imposes to interpret the melodic sound in the last chord as a g1, must be considered to be potentially intended by Chopin. However, a possible oversight of a  is highly likely, as this kind of oversights belongs to the most common inaccuracies of Chopin's notation, whereas a diminished four-note chord – to his favourite chords.

It is hard to determine how the difference in the slurring between FE and GC occurred. The new slur over bar 208 seems to be added, perhaps by Chopin, yet it could have been an ad hoc correction of a too short, or perhaps poorly visible, slur. In the main text we give the slur of FE, compatible with the prevailing phrasing.

FE1 (→FE2→FE3) lacks in a  before the bottom most E1. Chopin corrected his oversight in GC (→GE), EE and FE4 also include the correct version.
In the proofreading of FE4, a cautionary  before e1 in the R.H. was also added. A similar addition was introduced in EE2.

The curved line before the grace note and the chord, written in GC (→GE), means an arpeggio in this context. No sign in FE (→EE) is most probably an oversight of the engraver.

FE1 (→FE2→FE3) features an A1 as the bottom note on the 2nd crotchet in the bar. This patent inaccuracy was corrected only in FE4. The remaining sources include the correct F1.
