In GE, most probably due to the engraver's inattention, there is no R.H. accent in any of these bars. See also bars 158-159. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in GE |

It is difficult to say which of the sources based directly on [A] – FE and GC – reproduced Chopin's notation more accurately. Therefore, we give the version of the principal source, i.e. FE (→EE) – see Rules of creation of the main text. The missing mark in GE1 must be an oversight of the engraver. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in GE , GE revisions |

In the main text we include the two-bar sign written in GC and repeated in GE2. GE1 printed only a half of the sign on a new page, which, in turn, was repeated in EE2. No sign in FE (→EE1) is probably a result of the engraver's inaccuracy. Cf. bar 161. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in GE , GE revisions |
