Issues : Errors of GC

b. 21-22

composition: Op. 35, Sonata in B♭ minor, Mvt III

No slur in GC (→GE1)

Slur in FE (→EE) & GE2mar (→GE2)

..

The absence of the slur in GC (→GE1) is undoubtedly a mistake of the copyist. In GE2mar (→GE2) the sign was added on the basis of analogous bars.

b. 40

composition: Op. 35, Sonata in B♭ minor, Mvt III

..

In GC and FE1 (→FE2FE3FE5) there is no  before the 1st note in the R.H. This patent, from the harmonic point of view, mistake was corrected in GE, EE and FE4 (in the case of the last two editions, Chopin's proofreading cannot be excluded). A natural was added in FES too.

b. 42

composition: Op. 35, Sonata in B♭ minor, Mvt III

e in GC & GE2

g in GE1 (→GE2mar)

f in FE (→EE)

..

Both the version of GC (introduced later in GE2) and of GE1 (→GE2mar) are most probably a mistake. In the main text, we give the only correct version of FE (→EE).

b. 46

composition: Op. 35, Sonata in B♭ minor, Mvt III

..

The absence of the  returning a is undoubtedly an oversight of Chopin in [A] (→GC,FE1FE2FE3FE4). In the remaining editions the sign was completed, it was also added in FES.
