b. 62-69
|
composition: Op. 64 No 1, Waltz in D♭ major
..
In the main text we give the slurs of A. The versions of the presentation autographs may be considered to be alternative or only precising the suggestions of the nuanced leading of the phrase and of accentuation (except for the clearly unfinished notation of AII). The contextual interpretation of the first slur in AI allows to assume the slurring of GE2op (→#GE3op) to be also admissible. The versions of the remaining editions are either erroneous or completely arbitrary. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , GE revisions |

b. 69-76
|
composition: Op. 64 No 1, Waltz in D♭ major
..
In the presentation autographs Chopin was undecided how to lead the slur over these bars – in AI he embraced with it already the initial trill, however, in the next two, the slurs begin only from the quavers in bar 73. Eventually, Chopin returned to the initial concept of a slur over the entire link. The slur of AII, interpreted literally, does not suggest a link with the further part (repetition of bar 5), which, taking into account the continuous slur in bars 1-10, has to be considered to be an inaccuracy of notation. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Chopin's hesitations |

b. 80
|
composition: Op. 64 No 1, Waltz in D♭ major
..
In AI, in which bar 80 is the last one written out with notes, the literally interpreted slur does not suggest a link with the following sequence (repetition of bar 9). However, the continuous slur in bars 1-10 makes us consider it to be an inaccuracy of notation. A similar situation is present at the end of AII – cf. bars 69-76. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources |
