In AI the pedalling is still marked in these bars, however, it concerns another version of the L.H. – cf. bars 21-24 and the adjacent note. Due to this reason, we do not suggest it in the main text, even in a variant form. On the other hand, the version of the accompaniment, used here in A (→FE→GE,EE), was provided with pedalling by Chopin in bars 21-24, so the absence of indications does not mean prohibition of the use of pedal, but rather the absence of the necessity of its use. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations |

As it was described in bars 21-24, in the previous autographs Chopin used here a version which in A and in the editions appeared right there. In AI and AII it was preserved in its earliest form, with triads in bar 30. In the main text we add a cautionary before e1 in bar 19, a similar action was taken in all subsequent editions. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: EE revisions , Chopin's hesitations , GE revisions , FE revisions |

In As the part of the R.H. is not written out in bars 29-31, which in the case of bar 30 must be understood as a literal repetition of bar 22, including the last quaver, different than in the subsequent sources. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations |
