Fingering in GC (→GE)

Fingering in FE

Fingering in EE1 (→EE2)

Fingering in EE3

Combined suggestion by the editors

..

The fingering versions of GC (→GE) and FE complement each other (and they generally overlap). In turn, the version of EE1 (→EE2) is most probably incomplete and erroneous.

Quavers in GC (→GE)

Dotted rhythm in FE & EE

..

Based on the fact of writing the part of the L.H. under the semiquavers of the R.H., the equal quavers in GC (→GE) are a result of a mistake of the copyist who forgot to add the dot extending b and semiquaver beam.

b. 50

composition: Op. 25 No 11, Etude in A minor

No sign in GC (→GE1)

 in FE, EE & GE2 (→GE3)

..

The  sign was most probably overlooked by the copyist in GC (→GE1) here. It was added in subsequent GE.

g3-d3 in GC (→GE1)

g2-d2 in FE, EE & GE2 (→GE3)

..

The version of GC (→GE1) is certainly erroneous – in this bar Chopin embraced only four semiquavers with the octave sign, differently than in similar bars, which most probably confused the copyist.
