In A, FE and EE1 there is no cancellation of a few previously raised notes in chromatic passages:
The remaining editions introduced additions to these patent oversights (some of all): category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , Errors in EE , Omissions to cancel alteration , Errors in GE , GE revisions , Errors of A |

In A (→GE1) and FE the only cautionary sign in these bars is the next to d1 in the L.H. in bar 8 (in EE there is also a before c3 in bar 7). The flat was omitted – not without a reason – in GE2 (→GE3), whereas a few others were added: before e2 and d2-b2 in bar 7 and g2-e3 and d3 in bar 8. In the main text we consider the first and last from the aforementioned signs, while still adding a before g1 in bar 7 (due to the similarity of combination of bars 6-7 with bars 2-3). category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: GE revisions , Cautionary accidentals |

In A (→GE1) and FE there is no raising d to d. This characteristic inaccuracy was corrected in EE and GE2 (→GE3). The latter also added a before a2 on the 4th quaver, poorly justified before a on the 8th quaver and a completely incomprehensible before c2 on the 10th quaver. We also add a before d2 on the 8th quaver of the bar. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Accidentals in different octaves , Inaccuracies in GE , GE revisions |

Following GE2 (→GE3), we add cautionary flats before g1 and g, while we omit the late sign before g1 on the 9th quaver, present in the remaining sources. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: GE revisions , Cautionary accidentals |

The single A in EE1 (→EE2) is the original version. It is proved by visible corrections performed by Chopin in A (→GE) and FE. The version with octave was introduced in EE3, most probably on the basis of GE. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: EE revisions , Authentic corrections of FE , Authentic corrections in GC |
