Most probably, only one of the two rhythmic values of the bass E is authentic, however, it is hard to determine which one. It is easy to imagine both an incidental omission and an erroneous addition of a dot extending the minim. In the main text, we adopt the version which in analogous bar 50 appears as the only one.
The rest added in GE – and in EE3 after it – is an arbitrary addition (in GE1 in this and in the next bar, two crotchet rests were erroneously added in each bar).
