The note, written in A as the 3rd quaver of the bar, was changed by Chopin to in the remaining two Stichvorlage editions and proofreading of FE. Chopin performed a similar correction, which allowed to avoid parallel octaves between the extreme voices, in the Etude in A major, Op. 25 No. 1, bar 21
