Same as in bars 5 and 9, in A there is no  returning b.

b. 36-37

composition: Op. 26 No 1, Polonaise in C♯ minor

..

In bar 36 in A there are no accidentals, which is certainly Chopin's mistake – cf. analogous bar 11. The necessary accidentals were added in the proofreading of FE (→GE,EE), together with the cautionary sharps in bar 37.

b. 39

composition: Op. 26 No 1, Polonaise in C♯ minor

..

In A Chopin undoubtedly overlooked the  raising g1 to g1 in the written grupetto. He did not correct the mistake in the proofreadings of FE either. The necessary sign was added only by the revisers of GE2 (→GE3GE4GE5) & EE2.

b. 44

composition: Op. 26 No 1, Polonaise in C♯ minor

gin chord in A (→FE1)

g2 in FE2 (→EE) & GE

..

The version of A (→FE1) – with g2 on the 1st quaver – although theoretically possible – is, according to us, most probably erroneous. Anyways, in the proofreading of FE2 (→EE), the  from before the 2nd quaver was moved over the first, almost certainly at Chopin's order. The sign was added also in GE, which is most probably an opportune revision of the editor. Cf. bar 76.

b. 85

composition: Op. 26 No 1, Polonaise in C♯ minor

Repeat sign in A

No sign in FE (→GE,EE)

Our variant suggestion

..

The visible in A repetition sign probably means that while writing the Polonaise, Chopin assumed repeating bars 54-85 (the doubt arises, i.a., due to the absence of a respective sign in bar 54). The absence of this sign in FE (→GE,EE), which is probably a result of Chopin's proofreading, indicates a change of decision and this is the version we give in the main text. However, an erroneous introduction of a repetition sign due to the lack of note text in the previous bars, favouring confusion and related to the abbreviated notation of bars 71-85, also cannot be excluded.
