Fingering in EE

Our suggestion

In the main text we give the 3rd finger written in FED at the beginning of the next bar. Chopin's fingering in the previous bar, which also applies here, indicates that the sustained note should be performed with the 3rd finger from the beginning. The use of the 3rd finger was also indicated here by Fontana in EE.
