More probably a long accent in A

A short accent in GE

Inaccurate notation of FE

 in EE

The accent on f sharp2 does not stand out visually from the other three accents in the first line of A, which makes us consider it to be a short one. On the other hand, accents in analogous bars 11 and 51 are clearly long ones, and we see no reason why markings in those bars should follow a different pattern. This argument, in the editors' opinion, tips the balance in favour of the long accent option.

In the entire Mazurka in GE1 marks that could be interpreted as long accents were used in few instances only.
