Title: | Etudes || No. 9 |
Dedication: | son Ami F. Liszt |
Copy of the latest impression of FE2 from the collection of Chopin's works belonging to his pupil Jane Stirling. It contains prolongation of the all'ottava sign in bar 28 pencilled probably by the composer (correction of a mistake). Moreover, above the beginning of the Etude there is an inscription which reads: "prélude en re mineur" (prelude in D minor).
