The version of EE may be an ordinary oversight of the dot and the tie prolonging the c crotchet, although a revision cannot be excluded, e.g. omission of the tie due to the missing dot. GC (→GE) is also lacking the dot, which is a patent mistake in the face of the tie. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Errors in EE , GE revisions , Errors of GC , Errors repeated in GE |

In A the slur in the L.H. was corrected – Chopin originally wrote one slur embracing the upper voice of the L.H. from the middle of bar 129 to the middle of bar 131, then he corrected it by dividing it into two parts in the middle of bar 130. This corrected variant was included in FE and EE, while in GC there is a version with one slur starting earlier, that is from the c quaver in the bottom voice, which was then repeated in GE. In the main text we give the corrected version of A. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Corrections & alterations issues: Inaccurate slurs in A , Inaccuracies in GC |
