In both A and GC bar 114 starts a new line. The slurs in A unequivocally mean a continuous slur, however, the notation in GC is ambiguous – the beginning of slur in bar 114 suggests continuation from the previous bar but the slur in bar 113 ends on the last quaver (this inaccurate notation is meticulously reproduced in GE). We assume this to denote separate slurs. In the main text we give the notation of A (→FE,EE) which does not rise doubts. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in GC , Uncertain slur continuation , Errors repeated in GE |

Contrary to the R.H. part, the slurs in the L.H. are distinctly separated between bars 113-114 in A (→GC→GE). Nonetheless both FE and EE do not break the slur there, perhaps just after the R.H. slur. However, a comparison with an analogous phrase in bars 137-139 suggests that the continuous R.H. slur is more likely to be inaccurate here. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in FE , EE inaccuracies |
