FE0 (→FEG,EE) have a slur embracing 3 bars. In the base text to FE Chopin extended the slur to the end of the phrase (one can see the trace of the original slur of FE0). Lack of a relevant correction in FEG and in the base text to EE should be considered in this context as Chopin's oversight. In EE and GE2 (→GE3) the slur between bars 88 and 89 was broken. In the case of EE, it is hard to state whether it is an inaccuracy or a revision (one cannot even completely exclude Chopin's possible proofreading in the base text to EE). The version of GE2 (→GE3) is certainly a result of a revision. Chopin added a slur in FEG, ending it together with the bar line. It was only the engraver of GE1 that interpreted it literally, by placing the slur only in bar 94. There is no doubt that Chopin's intention was to lead the slur to the end of the phrase, i.e. the 1st crotchet in bar 95. The latter is included in EE, a relevant correction was also performed in GE2 (→GE3).
