FE0 has a whole rest in the L.H. In FEG (→GE) Chopin added two quavers and relevant rests. He must have introduced a similar change also in the base texts to FE and EE. According to us, the quavers – same as the previous ones – were supposed to be embraced with a slur, in spite of the fact that it is absent in FE and in FEG (if we are to believe the photocopy of this source, which is not of the highest quality). category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Authentic corrections of FE , Authentic corrections of GE , Authentic corrections of EE |

Chopin added the hairpins in FEG, yet in GE1 (→GE2→GE3) they are absent. The sign is also absent in FE and EE. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Authentic corrections of GE |

In FE0 (→FE,EE) the slur ends on the last semiquaver in bar 230. In FEG (→GE) Chopin extended the slur to the 1st crotchet in bar 231. The composer probably overlooked the respective correction in the base texts to EE and FE. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE , Errors in EE |

On the 2nd crotchet FE0 (→FE,FEG→GE1) has an undoubtedly erroneous e-a-d1 chord. Its correct sound, with the middle component being a b instead of a, may be established by comparing it with analogous bar 247. This version is included in EE, perhaps on the basis of Chopin proofreading of the base text, as well as in GE2 (→GE3). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE , Authentic corrections of EE |
