Chopin added the pedalling in a proofreading of FE (→GE,EE). The omitted  mark in FE at the end of bar 59 was added in GE and EE.

The pedalling of the 2nd half of the bar was added in a proofreading of FE (→EE). In GE1 the  mark at the end of bar 60 is missing, which was corrected in GE2, yet in GE3 (→GE4GE5) it was again omitted, this time together with the preceding it  mark.

Chopin would generally indicate the performance of such kind of endings with one pedal. The missing indications may have been a result of the composer's distraction – on the last page of FE he did not add any pedal mark.
