b. 85

composition: Op. 10 No 8, Etude in F major

No indication in A

in FE

in GE & EE

..

The indication sempre legatiss. was added in a proofreading of FE (→GE,EE). It could be assumed that Chopin added it instead of a slur in bars 85-88, overlooked in FE. A similar addition in bar 81 suggests, however, that the composer did not see anything wrong with simultaneous presence of both indications. Therefore, in the main text we give both the slur and the verbal indication.

b. 91

composition: Op. 10 No 8, Etude in F major

in A

No indication in FE (→GE,EE)

..

According to us, it seems more likely that con forza written in A was overlooked in FE (→GE,EE).

b. 93-94

composition: Op. 10 No 8, Etude in F major

 in A

FE (→GE,EE)

..

The fact of moving  from bar 93 to 94 is most probably a result of Chopin's proofreading of FE (→GE,EE).
