Accents in A

GE1 and EE

FE and GE2 (→GE3)

The two accents were clearly written in A as a short one and a long one. In GE1 that difference was disregarded and two short accents were put in. That version was revised in GE2 (→GE3) by lengthening the first accent (against A). FE also presents a similar version, which was changed to two equally short accents again in EE (following the general tendency of that edition).
