The lack of the staccato sign in EE1 (→EE2) is certainly an error. The same inaccuracy in GE2 (→GE3) is puzzling, yet an accidental omission is also a plausible explanation here as well. The dot in EE3 was added on the basis of GE1, as the reviewer of EE3 definitely availed himself of that German edition. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Inaccuracies in GE , EE inaccuracies |

An accent and a staccato dot were added in EE3 on the 2nd beat of bar 47. Both signs are inauthentic, and although the addition of the accent may be explained by the analogy with bar 15, the dot is a completely arbitrary addition made by the reviewer of EE3. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in EE |

Missing in EE1 (→EE2) is the staccato dot over the 2nd crotchet of the R.H. The error was corrected in EE3. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in EE |

Apart from the authentic accent placed between the staves, EE3 has an extra accent added above the 3rd crotchet of the R.H. That revision is probably based on additional accents introduced in EE1 in analogous bars 16 and 20.
