



In FE the second rhythmic group in the L.H. part is provided neither with a slur nor with a wedge, which is either the engraver's oversight or Chopin's inadvertence. The marks were added in GE and EE, yet in GE the wedge was changed to a staccato dot as part of general revision – see the note in bar 20.
