In GE1 the 9th quaver is g, which is certainly a mistake, a typical mistake of "thirds". In GE2 (→GE3GE4) the correct text was reinstated. In EE there is a cautionary flat before the appropriate note (e).

Vertical accents in EE are most probably an arbitrary change introduced by the editor, although such form of accents in the manuscript - the base text for EE - cannot be completely excluded.

FE is lacking the dashes determining the crescendo's range, which is supposedly the engraver's oversight. Such errors were quite frequent in Chopin's first prints. Division of the word crescendo into syllables in EE is probably a revision of that edition (cf. bars 25-26), although such a notation can also be found in Chopin's autographs. The abbreviation cres used by Chopin was replaced by us with the currently adopted conventional abbreviation cresc.

We add a cautionary flat next to d3 on the 9th quaver in the R.H. The sign was added in GE and EE.

The sign staccato over f2 in A has clearly a shape of a wedge, similarly in FE and EE. In GE the sign was interpreted as a dot, which does not stem from A's ambiguous notation, but from the general rule adopted in the edition: in the entire Impromptu there is not a single appearance of wedges. The wedge in the L.H. in EE is probably an addition to the edition. Cf. bar 112.
