b. 94
|
composition: Op. 29, Impromptu in A♭ major
..
In A Chopin omitted the accent's sign, which was recreated in GE. A short accent was added in the next editions from GE2, as well as in FE and EE. We give the long accent after the analogous place in A in bar 12. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Long accents |

b. 97-99
|
composition: Op. 29, Impromptu in A♭ major
..
We consider interpreting the accents in A as long ones to be more probable, as they emphasise the imposition of longer rhythmic values (crotchets) on the triplet figuration. In A and GE1 there are no accents in bar 99, which can be considered as Chopin's inattention (which is characteristic for the reprise). The omission was partially corrected in GE2 (→GE3→GE4), where three first accents were placed. EE and FE already have all four signs, concordant with analogous bar 17. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources issues: Long accents |

b. 112
|
composition: Op. 29, Impromptu in A♭ major
..
We interpret the ambiguous accent in A as short (as it is in the editions). We consider the long accent to be less probable. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Long accents |

b. 113-114
|
composition: Op. 29, Impromptu in A♭ major
..
The accent in A is ambiguous. We assume that it is rather short (as in the editions), although its interpretation as long accent cannot be excluded. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources issues: Long accents |

b. 117-118
|
composition: Op. 29, Impromptu in A♭ major
..
Similarly as in bar 117, we consider the short accent to be more plausible. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources issues: Long accents |
