Pedalling

b. 109

composition: Op. 29, Impromptu in A♭ major

..

In GE there is a pedal mark on the 3rd crotchet, which is certainly a mistake. In A one can also see a deletion of an initiated  mark (similarly as in bar 27 where a similar figure appears in the accompaniment).

b. 110

composition: Op. 29, Impromptu in A♭ major

..

In A Chopin must have overlooked the pedal release mark, which was repeated in GE1. In the remaining sources the sign was completed.

..

In A (→GE1) Chopin may have overlooked pedal marks – we place them after an analogous situation in bar 30.

b. 113-115

composition: Op. 29, Impromptu in A♭ major

..

In EE the pedal ending on the 2nd quaver in bar 115 starts already at the beginning of bar 113. In all other sources the pedal is only on the 1st crotchet in bar 115. In A at the beginning of bar 113 one can see a deletion of the  sign.

b. 117-119

composition: Op. 29, Impromptu in A♭ major

..

The sources differ in the range of use of pedal. In A (→GE) the first pedal includes bars 117-118 and the second one the first crotchet in bar 119. In FE the first pedal was omitted. In EE one pedal covers both pedals of A (→GE).
