Lack of natural next to d1 is an obvious Chopin's error in A (→GE1) and FE. In EE the sign is present, yet it may be an addition of the edition's reviser – such a revision was made in GE2 (→GE3GE4).

However, it is unclear whether the lack of natural raising a into is an error. The version with a is musically possible, yet the note a, enabling to maintain the unambiguous colour of the suddenly introduced A minor key, seems to be more natural here. In such a situation, the addition of natural by Chopin in FES indicates rather a double error of the composer in A and FE.
The origin of the version GE1 is not entirely sure. The added natural is probably one of many revisions introduced into that edition, yet the accuracy of such an addition is puzzling, which – contrary to the other ones – is not that obvious. It may suggest Chopin's presence during the proofing of GE1.
