  b. 97-99

We consider interpreting the accents in A as long ones to be more probable, as they emphasise the imposition of longer rhythmic values (crotchets) on the triplet figuration. In A and GE1 there are no accents in bar 99, which can be considered as Chopin's inattention (which is characteristic for the reprise). The omission was partially corrected in GE2 (→GE3GE4), where three first accents were placed. EE and FE already have all four signs, concordant with analogous bar 17.
