Issues : Triplet slurs
b. 77-81
|
composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor
..
The extra slurs under the triplets in bars 77 and 81 in A were omitted in GE(→FE→EE). In the context, those slurs are just part of the triplet markings and we do not take them into consideration (cf. General Editorial Principles, point 16). category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Inaccuracies in GE , Triplet slurs |

The extra slurs under the triplets in bars 79, 83 and 87 in A (GE1→FE→EE) were omitted in GE2 (→GE3). b. 79
|
composition: Op. 28 No. 15, Prelude in D♭ major
..
As was the case with b. 4 and 23, in the main text we omit the additional slur being a part of the marking of the irregular group – cf. General Editorial Principles, p. 16. category imprint: Editorial revisions issues: Triplet slurs |

b. 82
|
composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt II
..
Out of two slurs written in A, in GE (→FE→EE) the bottom was chosen, embracing only the group of small quavers. The choice, compliant with the general approach of the engraver of GE1, is, however, unfortunate, since the bottom slur is only a part of the marking of an irregular group in this context. In the main text we leave the top slur, performing an articulation and phrasing function – Cf. General Editorial Principles, p. 16. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: GE revisions , Triplet slurs |

b. 85-86
|
composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor
..
The phrase mark begins in A from the beginning of the bar, also embracing the grace note. A also has another, shorter, slur for the quaver triplet. GE (→FE→EE) only have one slur, beginning from the 1st note of the triplet. We give the phrasing slur of A, omitting the additional triplet slur (cf. General Editorial Principles, point 16). category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Triplet slurs |
