Long accents in A

Long accent in FE (→EE2)

Short accent & dots in GE

Two accents in EE3 (→EE4)

..

We consider the marks written in A under the chords in bars 4 and 12 as long accents. Only first of them was reproduced in FE (→EE2). In GE the sign in bar 4 became a common short accent and in bar 12 both chords were provided with staccato dots. In EE3 (→EE4) a short accent was added in bar 12. According to us, only the version of A is authentic.

Crotchets g & G in A

..

In bars 4 and 12 additional crotchet stems were omitted in the editions, perhaps due to a misunderstanding of A by the engraver of FE.

Fingering in A

FE (→GE)

..

In the main text we give the fingering of the L.H., written by Chopin in A. In FE (→GE) the '3' digit was overlooked in bar 5, which is almost certainly an oversight. In EE Fontana completed the fingering at the beginning of bar 5, adding digits for each note. EE3 erroneously features '2' as the 1st digit in bar 4 (it may be a mistake related to the transcription of the "continental" fingering system to the "British" one – cf. General Editorial Principlesp. 10).

Two accents in A (→FE, literal reading)

One accent in GE (contextual interpretation of FE)

One accent in EE

..

It is not entirely clear whether FE has two accents in the 2nd half of the bar, as it is in A, or one, as it is in GE or EE. According to us, in the preceding fragment Chopin clearly expressed his intention of leaving only the accents on the 4th and 10th quavers in bars 1-4 and this is the version, clearly reproduced in GE, that we give in the main text. However, the accent in an analogous place of the 2nd eight-bar section (bar 12) may be considered as an argument for two accents in the discussed place in bar 4. The version of EE is probably a result of revision based on the comparison with bar 12.

No sign in FE (→GE1,EE)

The missing  mark is a patent error of the engraver of FE (→GE1,EE), corrected in subsequent GE,s.
