In the main text we suggest adding a slur after the authentic solo part slurs. Cf. also the L.H. slurs in the version for one piano in b. 136-137 and 137-138. The slur added in EE3 was modelled on the L.H. slur of the solo part, inaccurately reproduced by EE1 (→EE2). category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions |

In A (→GE→FE,FESB), the note on the ways to use the alternative L.H. part is in French, whereby in FE it was shortened by one word, perhaps due to typographic reasons. In the main text we provide its Polish and English versions. The note is absent in AsI, as are the other performance markings. category imprint: Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions |

In A the last fingering digit in the 1st half of the bar concerning the R.H. (over f2) is 3, whereas GE1 printed there a 2 (by mistake). The mistake was corrected in all editions based on GE1 – in GE2 (→GE3) and FE the digit 3 was restored, while in EE the erroneous digit was removed. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in GE , GE revisions , Authentic corrections of FE |

In AsI there are no accidentals before the last two demisemiquavers in the bar. This time, Chopin's patent oversight – cf. analogous b. 137, 141 and 145 – remained unnoticed also in A (→GE→FESB,EE1→EE2). It was only FE and EE3 that added flats restoring b and b1. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors of A , Authentic corrections of FE , Omitted correction of an analogous place , Errors repeated in GE , Errors repeated in FE , Errors repeated in EE |

In the main text, we propose adding a slur covering a pair of double stops at the transition of bars 180-181, b-a1 and e1-g1. The slur was also added in EE3. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions |
