In GE2 the slur was divided between bars 42-43, contrary to the unambiguous notation of A and the remaining editions. There are visible actions taken to perform this correction in print, which may be surprising, as the edition did not use the printing material of GE1 and the changes could be introduced in the base text, before printing. Perhaps there is still an earlier impression of GE2.
