The version of AsI is the initial version of this place. In the final one, Chopin raised the position of the 2nd and 3rd L.H. quavers and simplified the excessively precise rhythmic notation of the 2nd half of the bar in which both notes have the value of semiquavers complemented with rests. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Accompaniment changes |

The version without f2, introduced – most probably by Chopin – at the stage of proofreading FE, is also a version that was entered into AsI, in which the note was also removed (deleted, like f in the L.H. on the same quaver). Therefore, if the correction to AsI preceded the preparation of A, we are dealing with Chopin's hesitation, who changed his mind on the presence of this note three times. Another possibility would be the initial version having been erroneously entered into A. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations; Source & stylistic information |
