In the main text we add cautionary naturals to g1, a1 in the R.H. and to a, A in the L.H. AsI contains two of them, before a1 and A, while to a was also added by FE1 (→FE2) and EE3. All the aforementioned accidentals are present in GE3. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions , Cautionary accidentals , Authentic corrections of FE |

The cautionary natural specifying the sound of the 2nd semiquaver was added in the stage of proofreading FE1 (→FE2), probably at Chopin's request. It is worth noting that it was only in the editions that a clear need for this accidental manifested itself, in which the last semiquaver in the previous bar is provided with a flat – in A there is no accidental to any of these notes. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Cautionary accidentals , Authentic corrections of FE |

In GE1 (→FE1,EE,GE2→GE3,FESB) there is no restoring d at the beginning of the 3rd beat of the bar. The patent mistake – the absence of this accidental also impacts the sound of the last L.H. semiquaver, resulting in a combo of d1 in the R.H. and d in the L.H. – was noticed only in FE2. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Errors in GE , Authentic corrections of FE , FE revisions |

The rhythm of A (→GE→EE,FESB) is almost certainly erroneous, which is evidenced by the long accent, certainly referring to the note held slightly longer (with a dot). Chopin corrected his mistake while proofreading FE1 (→FE2); the correct version is also in AsI. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Rhythmic errors , Errors of A , Authentic corrections of FE |

Due to the traces of removal of f1 from the 1st R.H. chord visible in FE, it is almost certain that this place underwent Chopinesque proofreading. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Authentic corrections of FE |
