b. 24

composition: Op. 63 No. 3, Mazurka in C# minor

..

In FE (→EE) there is a  to the d quaver. As notes at this pitch are not subject to any alterations both before and after (until bar 32), in the main text we remove the unnecessary accidental. An identical revision was performed also by GE. According to us, the  may be a remaining element of the initial version of this motif, with d as the first quaver.

b. 26-27

composition: Op. 63 No. 3, Mazurka in C# minor

Longer slur in FE (→GE)

Shorter slur in EEW

..

The fact that the slur is not continued on a new page in EEW must be the engraver's oversight.

b. 27

composition: Op. 63 No. 3, Mazurka in C# minor

staccato dots in FE (→GE1,→EEW)

staccato dots in GE2 (→GE3)

..

In the main text we add a staccato dot under the a1 quaver after a comparison with bar 19, which was performed also by GE2 (→GE3).

b. 28-29

composition: Op. 63 No. 3, Mazurka in C# minor

Shorter slur in FE (literal reading→GE)

Longer slur in FE (contextual interpretation→EEW)

..

The slur not having been continued in FE after the transition to a new line is almost certainly an oversight – cf. an analogous situation in bars 20-21. This is how it was interpreted in EEW, in which the slur was led to g2 in bar 29. By contrast, GE approached the version of FE literally and clearly ended the slur on the last note in bar 28.

b. 31

composition: Op. 63 No. 3, Mazurka in C# minor

on the 3rd beat in FE (→GE1,EEW)

 before 3rd beat in GE2 (→GE3)

..

The shift of  in GE2 (→GE3) is a revision unifying the position of this mark with the previous bars or a mistake by the engraver.
