  b. 16

 in FE (→GE)

   in EE

  [] suggested by the editors

In this context, the absence of a  sign is almost certainly an oversight by the engraver or Chopin. The sign added in EE is certainly an arbitrary revision, incorrect due to the chord change on the 3rd beat. In the main text, we propose an addition consistent with the harmonic course.
