The version of FE1 – the 2nd and 3rd crotchets without g – could have been temporarily considered by Chopin. According to us, however, it is more likely that we are dealing with an oversight, which was then corrected in FE2. Both notes were added in GE3, probably on the basis of a comparison with FE2.
