12 staccato dots in AI, contextual interpretation

staccato dot in FE (→GE1,EE)

No dots in GE2 (→GE3)

In AI Chopin continues the division into a melodic voice, encompassed with a slur, and accompanying voices, provided with staccato dots over the parts of both hands. It is only in bar 41 that a dot is missing, over the E-e octave, which must have resulted from the lack of space between the L.H. e and the R.H. g. In the content transcription (version 'edited text') we add this mark.
A single dot in FE (→GE1,EE) is probably a mistake by the engraver, added 'due to momentum,' which is confirmed by analogous 50, where there is no dot. Therefore, in the main text we do not include it, as in GE2 (→GE3).
Moreover, in the published version the R.H. chords are written without division into voices, and those on the 3rd beat of the bar are provided with accents.
