in GE1 resulted from an erroneous interpretation of the letter in b. 22, with which Chopin marked that bar as part of the abbreviation used for the notation of b. 25-32. The indication was also repeated in b. 30. Both erroneous markings were removed in subsequent GE. A similar mistake was committed in GE in the Polonaise in A Major, Op. 40 No. 1, b. 39 and analog., where the letter used in the abridged notation of repeated bars was printed as .
