There is no restoring f2 in the last group of demisemiquavers in EE1. It is most probably an oversight of the engraver, rectified in EE2. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in EE |

GE and EE added a before b2. However, the Chopinesque before b1 is a cautionary accidental; in this context, repeating it next to the 2nd demisemiquaver (placed an octave higher) of this group does not seem necessary. category imprint: Differences between sources; Source & stylistic information issues: EE revisions , GE revisions , Cautionary accidentals |

The missing slur over the 1st L.H. figure must be Chopin's mistake. The slur was added in both sources based on A, perhaps not even having noticed its absence. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors of A , FE revisions , Fontana's revisions |

In A one can see corrections on the 2nd beat of the bar – the R.H. figure was crossed out and rewritten on the stave above. Chopin wanted to change the enharmonic notation of the 5th and 6th demisemiquavers from f2-d2 to e2-c2; eventually, however, when writing the 6th demisemiquaver as c2, he again changed his mind and returned to d2 (he introduced the change of f1 to e1 also in the L.H.). category imprint: Corrections & alterations; Source & stylistic information issues: Corrections in A , Chopin's hesitations , Deletions in A , Enharmonic corrections |
