  b. 10-12

Final bars of the exposition in AI

Changes in A

The notation of GE (→FEEE)

In bars 10-12 in A Chopin changed the rhythm and articulation of AI by adding the wedge and  in bar 10, dotted rhythms in bars 10 and 12 and a longer phrasing slur in bar 11 with the removal of staccato from that bar. Chopin's notation of A was correctly reproduced in GE (→FEEE) with the exception of the wedge from bar 10 that was erroneously replaced with a staccato dot.
