AI and A present here two distinctly different concepts of slurring. Slurs in AI show short, hemiola-like motifs; the beginning of the slur in bar 17 admits two interpretations. In A (→GEFEEE) Chopin continues two-bar slurs embracing a repeated rhythmic pattern. In bar 20 GE (→FEEE) mistakenly brings the slur only to the 2nd quaver.

The interpretation of the marks at the beginning of bars 25, 27 and 31 as long accents is supported by the analogy with bars 1, 3 and 7, in which Chopin in A wrote the accents in a more precise manner than he did in bars 25, 27 and 31.

In both AI (in bars 2 & 11) and A Chopin wrote marks at the end of the bar, clearly after the 3rd L.H. crotchet. In GE1 (→FEEE) the mark was placed under the 3rd crotchet. Some attempts were made in GE2 to correct that inaccuracy, but the outcome is unclear. Cf. bars 36 i 38.

In bars 28 and 32  of  A, the  is placed before the third crotchet of the L.H., yet this positioning is not reliable due to the lack of logic in graphical depicting of musical time in the notation of the left and the right hand. Therefore, the revisions made in GE (→FEEE) are fully justified and make musical sense. In AI Chopin did not note the pedalling in bar 8 - being the equivalent of bar 32 in the repeat. See bar 8.
