None of the six necessary naturals lowering d2(1) to d2(1) are present in CJ and CK, which is a striking example of overlooked accidentals of a current key. This is even more of anomaly given that the first two R.H. naturals are written in A1. CB and EL contain the correct text.

e1 in the version of CK (→CB) and EL must be Kolberg's mistake – in A1 one can see that the note was corrected from e1 to c1. The version with c1 is an unquestionable Chopinesque improvement – it alleviates the impression of A-e1 having been moved parallel to F-c1, which opens the next bar.

The initial version of A1 was corrected still in this autograph (inaccurately – the penultimate L.H. quaver, b, remained unchanged), whereas the sources based on [A2] already contain the changed version (regardless of the rhythmic changes). The version of EL may be Kolberg's revision after the analogy with b. 22.
