b. 172

composition: Op. 50 No. 3, Mazurka in C♯ minor

Quaver & rest in AI, AF (→FE) & GE

Dotted quaver in EE

..

According to us, the dotted rhythm in EE is either an arbitrary revision or a mistake.

b. 182-183

composition: Op. 50 No. 3, Mazurka in C♯ minor

c tied in AI & AF (→FEEE)

c repeated in GE

..

In the main text we give the version of GE, which most probably corresponds to the notation of [AG]. A repeated c note is more realistic if it is actually supposed to be heard in the entire four-bar section. Without access to [AG], an overlooked tie cannot be ruled out.
