In b. 531 and 535 in the main text we give the unequivocal whole-bar slurs of A (→FC→GE). However, the longer slurs of FE (→EE) are probably a result of Chopin's proofreading: there is no visible reason for which the engraver would have complicated his work with asymmetrical slurs. Therefore, they can be considered an equivalent variant.
