Slurs in FE (→EE)

Slurs in GE

Our alternative suggestion

According to us, leaving the 1st triplet without slur is a clear inaccuracy of notation, probably committed by the engraver of FE, although inaccurate slurs of [A] are also likely. The slurs can be corrected by prolonging the slur in bar 236 or by starting earlier the one from bar 237. In the main text, we give the former due to its statistical advantage in similar places – 2 appearances (bars 232-233 and 238-239) to one (bars 234-235). The solution analogous to bars 234-235 may be considered an alternative interpretation of the slurs of FE (→EE).
