Slurs in GE3

In the entire Tutti (bars 68-87), GE3 added performance indications, mainly staccato dots and slurs. Some of the added marks were repeated after the R.H. part, which can be considered justified, although, according to us, not necessarily. Others can be found in the notation of the orchestral parts of FEorch (→GEorch); nevertheless, the additions are arbitrary as a whole. They cover:

  • added slurs in the middle voice in the R.H. in bars 68 and 70;
  • added staccato dots in the second halves of bars 68-70;
  • added staccato dots in bars 74-75;
  • added staccato dots and accents in the L.H. in bars 76, 78 and 80;
  • added staccato dots in the L.H. in bars 86-87.

Similar changes were introduced also in further sections of the Tutti, in bars 100-119, 296-315, 328-339.
