Like in analogous bars 293-296, Chopin proofread the slurs in the L.H. in these bars, which is proved by the traces of corrections visible in FE. A two-bar slur replaced two slurs encompassing bar 307 and the last 2 beats of bar 308.

The traces visible in FE prove that, originally, the top voice was led differently: . It is the slur, removed at the time of that proofreading, that particularly draws attention – one can ponder whether it was not supposed to be adapted to the new shape of the melody and not to be removed. However, uncertain as to the range of a possible slur, we do not suggest any addition.

In FE (→GE1→GE2), the  raising the 2nd semiquaver to b is not cancelled, hence the 7th semiquaver should also be interpreted as b. It must be a mistake, corrected in EE and GE3. Although the reviser of GE3 corrected only the erroneously written note, adding a  before it, in EE, the  before the 2nd note was removed, which changed its pitch to b. This version, although possible both from the musical and pianistic point of view, is, however, certainly arbitrary – the traces visible in FE prove that the  was added only at the stage of proofreading, almost certainly at Chopin's request, who, in turn, did not participate in the proofreading process of EE. In the main text, we give the version of FE, corrected by Chopin, written correctly in GE3.

In FE, there are visible traces of corrections concerning the last four top semiquavers in the L.H. – b2-b2-a2-g2. Initially, it was an a2-a2-b2-b2 sequence that was printed here, certainly by mistake, which is a respective fragment of the previous bar.
