Our suggestion based on FED & FEH

..

All fingerings are compliant in the fragments where their ranges overlap. In the main text, we suggest a compilation of the entry of FED and the part of the entry of FEH that complements it, which specify the hand position in the initial part of the bar.

The compliant fingering of EE and the one written in FEH does not influence the evaluation of their uncertain authenticity.

Fontana's fingering in EE

The first finger on is given in all three sources containing fingering, and it is this digit that we include in the main text. Further indications of FEH, written by a foreign hand, present one of the possibilities of fingering this fragment; it is difficult to evaluate the likelihood of their authenticity, rather inconsiderable.

The fingering digit, written in FED between the staves, could also refer to din the R.H., which is, however, much less likely from the pianistic point of view.
